Senior Systems Engineer T2

The role will be part of a talented team of System Engineers that demonstrate superb technical competency and will report to the team leader. They will be responsible for planning, implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting new and existing systems and infrastructure.

What will you be doing

Designing, implementing, and maintaining Microsoft Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNS/DHCP services,
Managing and administering virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere or Microsoft Hyper- V,
Monitoring and optimizing server performance, resource utilization, and virtual machine performance,
Configuring and managing high availability and disaster recovery solutions, such as failover clustering or VMware Site Recovery Manager,
Implementing and maintaining Microsoft Exchange Server or other messaging and collaboration platforms,
Planning and executing system upgrades, migrations, and patch management for Microsoft and VMware environments,
Implementing and maintaining security measures and best practices to protect systems and data,
Providing technical support and troubleshooting expertise for system-related issues,
Collaborating with other IT teams and stakeholders to understand business requirements and provide technical solutions,
Documenting system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for reference and knowledge sharing,
Staying up-to-date with the latest releases, updates, and best practices in Microsoft and VMware technologies.

What will you bring

3+ years of experience in a similar role,
Strong time management and organization skills,
Team player collaborating with highly skilled professionals,
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English,
Solid knowledge of Windows service administration, HW, DELL, HP,
Solid Cloud experience, preferably in Azure - Cloud certs (Azure, AWS, etc.) would be considered an asset,
Proven experience in Virtualization administration (VMware & Hyper-V),
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Telecoms, or similar field.
